$26.00

Support GROW Externships while sharing some fun facts about nature-- mainly that it's gay.

Printed on a sustainably manufactured tote bag, you can tote your cool stuff around while helping us create life-changing paid externships for disadvantaged and underrepresented (BIPOC, woman-identifying, and LGBTQIA2S+) students and developing professionals, vitalizing their careers in sustainability, environmental science, and related fields.

This stylish tote bag features the Laysan Albatross with the following text on the back:

In the 2008 study “Successful same-sex pairing in Laysan albatross,” researchers found that 31% of Laysan albatross pairs on O’ahu were female–female, and the overall sex ratio was 59% females as a result of female-biased immigration. This was the first record of cooperative breeding in Laysan albatross, in which unrelated females paired with one another for multiple years and cooperated in chick rearing. (Photo credits: L.
